Services- Counseling

Who is it for?
Chelsie specializes in helping women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s who are struggling with anxiety find clarity, calm, and emotional balance. If the following resonates with you, let’s schedule a free 15-minute call and see if working together feels right.

  • Anxiety can make it hard to communicate clearly in relationships. You might overthink what you say, fear being judged, or struggle to set boundaries. This can leave you walking on eggshells or pulling away, when what you actually want is connection.

  • At work, anxiety can have you replaying conversations and second-guessing yourself. This rumination pulls you out of the present, drains your energy, and can lead to burnout.

  • Anxiety can chip away at your self-worth. You may become overly self-critical, questioning your value or feeling undeserving of love or success. This constant internalized anxiety creates a cycle of self-doubt, making it difficult to view yourself in a positive light.

  • Anxiety can show up in your body as tension, stomach issues, headaches, trouble breathing, etc. The constant state of alertness wears you down, leaving you drained. At night, racing thoughts can make it hard to sleep, adding to the exhaustion and stress the next day.

Unresolved trauma can make it even harder to manage anxiety and emotions. You might find yourself suppressing feelings instead of working through them, which can feel isolating and overwhelming. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. Chelsie helps clients connect with their thoughts, bodies, and emotions in a more mindful, compassionate way. This helps support anxiety management by helping you regulate your nervous system, release stored emotional tension, and develop healthier coping strategies to break free from cycles of overthinking and stress.

What can I expect?
Chelsie primarily offers therapy sessions in person at her Los Alamos office. Counseling sessions typically last 53 minutes and may include a variety of approaches, depending on your needs and goals. You can expect a blend of verbal processing (talk therapy), somatic awareness, and mindfulness practices to help you connect with your body and emotions on a deeper level. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, identify patterns, and work through any challenges or emotional blocks that may be hindering your progress.
